How I Price My Work – Real Talk

I’ve been tattooing for over 20 years, from doing cheap house tattoos to now creating high-end, award-worthy pieces. One thing I’ve learned: you get what you pay for.

There’s a clear difference between a $100 rose and a $500 rose. Same with a $300 lion versus a $1,200 full-arm lion piece. The more time and detail that go into it, the more powerful the result. Think of it like this: a Marshall's polo and a Dillard’s designer shirt both serve a purpose, but one stands out, lasts longer, and feels premium. Tattoos are the same.

If you're looking for something quick and clean, I also offer BYOD (Bring Your Own Design) pricing. That means you bring in a ready-to-go design, and I’ll stamp it and tattoo it exactly as it looks. It’s a fast, budget-friendly option for those who want something solid without custom design time.

I don’t turn people away because of budget, but I do match your budget with time. For example, if you want a half sleeve but you're working with $150–$250, I’ll let you know what’s realistic. I’ll figure out how to give you a clean, well-executed piece in under 2 hours. It might not be the most detailed or refined, but it’ll still be good, just not the same as a piece I could spend 6–8 hours perfecting.

Bottom line:

Good. Great. Amazing. They all have different price tags, and I’m here to work with you to make your vision fit your budget without cutting corners on quality.

Full day rate: $1,500
Hourly: $150/hr (max 10 hours)
